Cameron V. Simpson

Cameron 'Cam' Simpson served in both the Australian and British Armies in Northern Ireland, the First Gulf War and in East Timor. He has worked in the security industry in the Middle East and Africa and has studied South Africa History. He has worked as an adviser to the film industry and was the research assistant for ‘Australia’s Boer War’ that was commissioned by the Australian War Memorial.

He is a member of the Anglo-Zulu War Historical Society and a recipient of the society’s prestigious Prince Buthelezi Award for Service to the Zulu People for ‘The Frontier Light Horse in the Anglo-Zulu War 1879.’

He is veracious researcher and pursues illusive archival material that brings to the reader a new and interesting story.

He has written the following books:
