Wendy Parris

Born and raised in the Midwest, Wendy Parris grew up loving mysteries and ghost stories. After graduating from Northwestern University with a degree in radio/television/film, she acted in small Chicago storefront theaters, performed improv comedy, and worked in public relations. Now she writes spooky middle-grade novels for kids. She lives in Illinois with her family in a creaky old house that is probably not haunted. FIELD OF SCREAMS is her debut novel. Her second book STAGE FRIGHT will be published by Delacorte Press/Random House Children's Books in fall 2024.
