After having my Queen Elizabeth poem 'Our Lily' read out in Parliament. I decided to go through my back catalogue of poems to see how many I'd put down onto paper & found over 200! The Darkness & The Light is the result. Prior to that I'd been published in Northern Life magazine, Write Out Loud pandemic anthology Beyond The Storm, and a couple in SAFC fanzine A Love Supreme (any football fan check out Chrysalis on their website).

I tend to write whatever comes to mind & quite often, after the first few lines, they can often write themselves!

Anything from ghosts to nature to war to love! Anyway hope you enjoy my book & please leave a review or opinion, it will be much appreciated either way.
