Travis Woods

My name is Travis Woods. I grew up in a small community with a population of about 30 people. Being the fourth child of eight, I spent a lot of time reading books. The various pictures within these books fascinated me and I started writing about my thoughts. In high school, I was writing speeches for others. After a near-death experience in the Army, I started writing about what I believe God was giving me, and each word has come from my heart. So, for me, a Christian believer, everything I write touches the very depths of my soul; and I pray they will also have the same effect on others. My ultimate prayer is that each word written in the poems given to me by God will help those that read them strengthen their walk with the Lord, and bring them closer to our Savior, Jesus Christ.
