Charles A. Wilkinson is a former Catholic priest (Redemptorist) and college professor. He married and became a marriage/family therapist for twenty-five years and later a columnist for the Evanston (IL) RoundTable for more than twenty-two years. He has remained connected to his past but always with a focus on the Now and what is to come. His background in philosophy and theology, with graduate studies in communication, together with his belief that faith is a seed that evolves and grows constantly, drew him to Pierre Teilhard de Chardin’s life and his insights on evolution and Christianity. The author’s writings reflect that belief.
He is the author of Contemplations in the Sometimes Quiet of a Hospital Room, and, more recently, Going Home- poems and meditations on death and dying.
