Candido Bretto

Candido Bretto is a children's author, music producer, and wedding and events bass player from Marshfield, MA. He's also the proud father of violin maker Marcus Bretto of Burlington, Vermont. Candido discovered his secret power in bass guitar playing at an early age and received a Certificate from Berklee College of Music, Boston. He taught music at Woodward School for Girls, Quincy, MA, and Bay Farm Montessori Academy, Duxbury, MA. In 2014, he was Johnny Drama Alves' bass player on A&E's Wahlburgers. In 2019, Candido released Rockin’ The Secrets of Plymouth Rock, a 12-song children's album based on the storybook The Secrets of Plymouth Rock by Diane Finn. In 2022, he released his first book in a series The Falling Star Repairman. He believes discovering a secret power can boost a child's self-confidence, help them recognize their strengths, and encourage them to explore new interests. After reading The Falling Star Repairman, children will wonder what secret power they have yet to discover.
