Peter Young loves a good story. For years he told the stories of world class athletes on TV. And he told countless stories to his 5 children as they were growing up.

Now he tells stories through his books. He has authored 3 books: Stop The Tall Man, Save The Tiger, a memoir published in 2023, and the first two books in the Thomas Conner Series - The Blue Team and Wardrobe Of The Wolf.

Peter played and coached college basketball and loosely based The Blue Team and Wardrobe Of The Wolf on his experiences. After his basketball career ended, Peter embarking on a career as a sports broadcaster. Working for ESPN, CBS, OLN, and other networks, Peter traveled the world covering everything from college basketball and football in the US, to rodeos in Canada and adventure racing in Morocco.

Stop The Tall Man, Save The Tiger chronicles Peter's journey in and out of a tiny but destructive religious cult.

He still calls the occasional high school basketball game and spins yarns to his children on long road trips.
