S.K. Healy

Shane “S. K.” Healy is a UCC Music graduate and longtime multimedia creator. Writing since his early teens, he loves all things creative, and he believes art is very much a shared endeavor.

In poetry, he has won prizes at Listowel Writers’ Week and was shortlisted for the Oliver Goldsmith Literary Festival.

He has previously worked in radio as well as in freelance journalism online, and is currently a proud staff member of record store, MusicZone, in Cork, Ireland.

Movies, music, video games, books, sport, photography among other things are his passions.

Having struggled with mental health issues since his early 20s, he hopes that his writing can in some way help young people to navigate similar.
