J.L. MOORE was born in Lubbock, Texas. He grew up idolizing the early rock and roll singers Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly, and Ricky Nelson, and he later developed a love of history, genealogy, and conspiracy theories. He began the journey of writing Stranger in the Crowd as early as November 2004.
J.L. currently lives in Daingerfield, Texas. He is a proud father and grandfather. This is his first novel featuring the Beaudreaux family, and he hopes to write many more.
