Donovan Miyasaki

Donovan Miyasaki is Professor of Philosophy at Wright State University. His two-volume study argues that Nietzsche's aristocratism is incompatible with his deterministic psychology of the will to power and his rejection of moralism, critically reconstructing his theory of justice as the foundation of a non-liberal, democratic, and socialist politics. His work in post-Kantian European philosophy, including Nietzsche, Beauvoir, Marx, Adorno, Heidegger, and Freud, has appeared in Journal of Moral Philosophy, Journal of Medical Ethics, History of Philosophy Quarterly, and Journal of Nietzsche Studies.
