When I wrote my first book, I was working with a child with ASD. I came up with a game to help him communicate. I'd say a letter then we'd say words back and forth that began with the letter. This was where the alphabet book was born. I had been working with children over 20 years and have never seen a book like the one I've written and illustrated. Kids relate to the simple drawings, and the alliterative style is fun to read. It was suggested to me that I should do a series of "Auntie Helen" books. I did a fair amount of research before choosing to self-publish. There's much to learn! I had the privilege of sharing my book with the children at our local schools. Truly grateful for that opportunity.

I welcome you to leave a review. Thanks!!
