Katie Kable

Katie Kable is a Brisbane-based educator, designer, illustrator and author who is passionate about supporting the education and learning of students of all ages. She is fortunate to have worked with students from Prep-Year 12, teaching general education through to home economic skills, including hospitality, cooking, and sewing.

Katie used to regularly test .pdf sewing patterns for Indie designers under the handle @zyzoaustralia and worked with many designers including Sew a Little Seam, Jenuine Design, Thread Faction Studio, Megan Nielsen, Simple Life Pattern Co., Wife Made, SoFiona Designs, Pattern Union, Bebekins patterns, Sinclair Patterns, Tie Dye Diva, Honeydew Kisses, Mountain Ash Designs, Candice Ayala, Alice and Ann, Bubby and Me Creations, The Eli Monster, Fresh Stitch Patterns, Sew Straight and Gather (now Stay + Stitch), Bella Sunshine Designs, and Itch to Stitch.
