Robert Adams

Robert R. Adams was born deep in the Appalachian Mountains of Eastern Kentucky and entered the U.S. Army in August 1966. He served with 7/13th Artillery, an “Airmobile” unit, as a gun crewman in support of the 1st Cavalry Division in the Central Highlands of Vietnam during Operation Pershing from Jan. ‘67 to Jan. ‘68. After Vietnam, Robert served his remaining military time as an armorer/drill instructor at Ft. Leonard Wood Missouri. He later attended Morehead State University where he took his BA and MA in history and political science. Robert did public service in Kentucky State government for 8 years (Office for Local Government) as a local government advisor and has worked as a financial advisor since 1983.

This is his first book. He lives alone in Lexington, Ky. and devotes his free time to reading history and veteran affairs.
