Myriam Wälde-Behning lives with her family in Germany and tries to spend as much time as possible in Spain. She is a translator and has been an enthusiastic mom of the wonderful Galgo Español dog breed for over 17 years. Myriam is committed to animal welfare and raising awareness of the terrible suffering of these dogs in Spain.

She has been publishing her work since 2020. Her most important project is the anthology Sighthound Stories. Volume I, Sighthound Stories – of Grace, Love, and the Unspoken, was published in 2023; Volume II, Sighthound Stories – Our Journey Through Four Continents, in 2022.
