Thomas Shess

Thomas Shess is a former reporter with the San Francisco Examiner and editor in chief of San Francisco Magazine, PSA Magazine and executive editor with San Diego Magazine and San Diego Home/Garden Lifestyles Magazine. He is an award winning prolific freelance writer specializing in travel, food and current and vintage Arts & Crafts and Mid-Century architecture. His wife, Phyllis is a retired homicide and sex crimes prosecutor for the San Diego District Attorney’s office. Sons Zac and Mike live in North and South California, where the family gathers often.
