Annie Bisnauth-Thompson

Annie was born and raised in the Caribbean. She feels fortunate to have lived in different countries as a child, as it allowed her to experience, and appreciate differences and shared values across cultures. She always thought she'd write adventure books like 'De Vijf' (The Famous Five) by Enid Blyton, which was her favorite series growing up. However, this changed (for now) when she became a mom, and started building her daughter's book collection. She was reminded of how the books in her younger years sparked curiosity, created intrigue, and always had a lesson. She believes that hope, love, and resilience are themes that need to be reinforced in children's books - with some much needed humor and thoughtfulness. Her aim is to create relatable and fun characters that keep kids engaged, and encourage them to read, and ask many questions. Annie created the Ellie and Noodles series and launched her first book entitled Ellie's Art Dilemma in October 2022.
