Lou-Ann Tyrrell

Lou-Ann Tyrrell has a master's degree in journalism from the University of Vienna. After a successful corporate career, she decided to pursue her childhood dream and become a writer.

Lou-Ann is passionate about traveling the world, meeting people, learning about cultures, and experiencing new things. She has traveled to more than fifty countries and has lived in five of them for extended periods. She strongly believes that traveling, exploring, and learning about different countries and cultures expands our worldviews and perspective of the world. It is shaping us into better versions of ourselves and creates wisdom and appreciation.

The series of books Young Explorers & Storytellers is designed to make the world closer to children by learning about countries through fun facts and activities. The intention of the author is to awaken children's love for travel, exploring, learning, and adventures and spark their imagination and creativity.
