I exited the Air Force as a chaplain in July 2022. Prior to becoming a chaplain, I was enlisted in the Army from 1987-1991 as a French Linguist and supported 18th Airborne Corps. I served in the First Gulf War for Operations Desert Shield/Desert Storm and then discharged to pursue a college degree. My Bachelor's degree is in French from the University of Wyoming in 1995. I served in rural churches in Wyoming and South Dakota from 1995 to 2002. I received my Master of Divinity degree from Denver Seminary in 2005. I served as a chaplain in the medical field from 2005 to 2011 while serving in the Air Force Reserves. I have been certified as a disaster response chaplain since 2011. I have deployed three times as a chaplain to Iraq, Qatar, and Kenya. I earned two other Master’s Degrees in Operational Art and Science and Strategic Studies through Air University. I am married to Heather, a Canadian, now American. Her home church when we met was the Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship, now known as Catch the Fire, founded by John and Carol Arnott. We have three children. Our family home is in Fort Mill, SC. I published my first book, The Pathological Grieving of America: Overcoming Grief on a Personal, Corporate, and National Scale, in 2014. I am a contributing author in Wisdom: Work! Wealth: Find God’s Purpose for Your Prosperity through Side Gigs, Startups, and Entrepreneurship, edited by Kevin Cullis. I published my second book, Restoration: The Heartbeat of God, in 2021.
