Iris A. Foreman

Iris A. (McKenzie) Foreman has lived a life that has led her to experiences and opportunities from which she has learned a great deal. Hence, her goal is to share what she has encountered.. So the books she has written or composed attempt to enrich the lives of others.

Iris A. (McKenzie) Foreman is an avid student and teacher of the Old Testament scriptures. She earned a B.S. in Political Science from Lincoln University (PA) and an M.B.A. from Drexel University.

After a rewarding career in financial management in both the private and public sectors, she returned to school to pursue biblical studies. It was then that she received a Master of Divinity degree from Regent University. For several years, she has been researching the Hebrew Scriptures, Christian doctrine, and church history to gain a better understanding so she could share with others.

Following graduation, she began a second career in non-profit administration. For almost a decade, she was the executive director for the Foundation for Hospice located in Jacksonville, NC. This nonprofit agency provides assistance to terminally ill individuals who lack the necessary resources to die in dignity, peace, and comfort.

She came out of retirement to work as financial administrator at a public charter school with a predominantly low-income student body.

Iris (McKenzie) Foreman was born and raised in Chester, PA and has lived in Texas, Mississippi, and Virginia. She currently lives in North Carolina with her husband, Anthony, and her dog, Bronny. Currently in retirement, Iris devotes her time to research, writing, and making jewelry.
