Dean Elliott

From an early age Dean had always had a keen interest in computers and technology. He could often be found dismantling his parents’ old computers to find out how they worked, putting them back together and getting then to work in all sorts of weird ways. After getting numerous secondary and tertiary qualifications, he got a job with a local IT business in Dunsborough. He then spent the next 10 years increasing his knowledge, honing his skills and learning new skills in business and IT infrastructure.

In 2016 Dean stepped outside of his comfort zone to start his own company, Elliotts Tech. The primary goal of Dean’s new venture was to manage businesses’ total IT needs. As cyber threats have been steadily increasing and attacks are becoming significantly more common, and devastating, protecting Elliotts Tech’s customers from these threats has become a priority focus for Dean and his team. Now most days are now spent researching risks, cyber protections and the ever-changing business IT best practices. Dean and his expertly qualified technicians then distil this down into byte-size information that is relevant, pertinent and can be easily understood by their clients.

As a partner, father and owner of a growing business, Dean’s free time is at a premium. Where possible, he does enjoy spending time participating in charity car rallies, camping, and getting out bush with his motorbike or 4x4.
