Author François has been leaving an indelible mark in the world of literature since she started. Her best works to date include mesmerizing anthologies of poetry (Whispers and Secrets) and a compelling coming-of-age story (Empress). François is no stranger to both the beauty and ugliness life has to offer, which greatly inform her work and writing style. Because of this, she is skilled in writing masterful tales and compelling insights in several genres – including poetry, fiction, and non-fiction – that capture both the hearts and minds of her growing global fan base.
Her rich imagination is fueled by different personal experiences, both wonderful and tragic, including a near brush with death as she survived a murder attempt — but that is another story for another day. When she is not writing, François puts her John Jay College of Criminal Justice degree in Deviant Behavior and Social Control and her Lincoln University Master’s degree in Human Service to good use by working as a full-time child, youth, and inmate social worker, as well as a counselor and therapist. Born in Miami and raised in New York City, François chooses the quiet and balmy life and moved to Pennsylvania, where she now happily pursues a thriving career and writes her books.
