'When the first conker falls' - a tender depiction of childhood friendships, family secrets and a love of animals - has finally been published! A debut mystery novel and coming of age set in 1960s England, it took four years of blood, sweat and toil to write, edit and format, all of which I've done myself. My lifetime ambition of writing and publishing a novel is now complete. Now to write another one!

I live near to the New Forest in southern England and love walking my dogs there whilst thinking up stories. My inspiration comes from animals, quiet places, nature and ruins - and happiness is someone enjoying my book!
