I have a Masters degree in Animal Science, and I love exploring nature with my 3 young children. Before writing children's literature I worked in the music industry in Los Angeles, followed by several years of backpacking the world. I now work in the animal sciences at a University in New Zealand. I am passionate about running creative workshops with young children at libraries and schools. Nothing beats teaching kids about the wonders and mysteries of life.
