Cynthia Cooper MD

Dr. Cynthia Cooper is a full-time academic hospitalist and an award-winning educator. Throughout her career, she has focused on innovative teaching techniques to help students learn the intricacies of Medicine and human physiology. First, a student and, subsequently, a physician practicing in Massachusetts for nearly 30 years, Cindy continues to be a Steelers fan at heart. Her (non-medical) husband and children are the generous, patient and critical listeners who continue to shape the 'Medicine in Brief' haikus and tankas. They are the heroes of this book.
