Richard Cardillo retired from work in the insurance business in 2001, then moved to a senior living development in central Florida – a community called The Villages. Being retired gave him more time let state and federal lawmakers aware of his feelings to reduce gun violence in our county along with practical suggestions to reduce the ballooning federal deficit.
The lack of responses from elected officials prompted Richard to self-publish books on the topics in his letters in an effort to get his suggestions in front of more people. During the past 10 years he has published over a dozen books on a variety of topics including Florida living challenges and issues that challenge conventional thinking. Richard has also written 2 poetry books and one dealing with adult humor.
Richard plans to continue publishing books on controversial issues and human-interest topics as long as he can use a keyboard. His goal is to keep readers entertained and informed about critical matters facing our nation.
