Lauri Matisse is a modern-day renaissance woman who aspires to “weave the thread of redemption into the complex journey of the human soul” through her prolific work as an inspirational author and speaker, accomplished screenwriter, songwriter, award-winning architect and acclaimed artist.
Her published book titles include, No More Dark Days, Eve’s Memoirs and The Passion of Jesus. No More Dark Days, an inspirational journey through depression, eating disorders and compulsive behaviors was enjoyed by the Late Her Royal Highness Princess Diana of Wales and is cherished by numerous young women across the globe.
She has published 5 children's books and working on others.
Over the past 30 years, Lauri has been involved in many capacities of “fulfilling the great commission.” Lauri’s radio show, The Breath of God, featuring her dramatic work, I was Thinking of You…, along with her original songs, broadcast on the TBN Network reaching 2 million listeners, and on shortwave radio from Greece to the Middle East. Lauri has been interviewed on radio and TV. She has appeared as a guest on Its Supernatural with Sid Roth of Messianic Vision, along with various internet radio shows.
A prolific fine artist, Lauri has held numerous shows. Her work has been exhibited at the Armand Hammer Museum and many galleries in the U.S. and in France. She has collectors world wide. Her show, His Face, depicted Christ’s Face in over 40 different methods. Her latest solo show, August 2017, featured a work called ‘Mystik Earth’ which featured her apocalyptic Stature of Liberty painting one year before 9/11.
As a screenwriter, she is a graduate and professional member of Writer’s Boot Camp in Santa Monica. She has written five feature films, three TV pilots, and wrote and produced a short film, Heart Beat. She completed Eve the Musical, a musical comedy written with award winning playwright, Diana Woody and awarding winning composer Marco Rosetti.
