Phylicia Joannis

Phylicia is an indie author whose works center around matters of faith. Her educational background is in Biblical Studies, and she’s been writing inspirational fiction and short stories for over a decade. In addition to her Woman of Faith series, she's penned the Logoria Series, a Christian teen series about 5 kids navigating high school, as well as Derailed, an online web novel about a teenage girl trapped in a subway.

She writes short and long form fiction, as well as commercial fiction under the pen name P. J. Leigh, and has earned multiple short story awards, most notably from Writer’s Digest and locally from Wake County Libraries. When she's not overrun with laundry (and sometimes when she is) she enjoys reading, working on puzzles, and watching K-dramas.
