Jennifer Johnson has had senior roles in the medical sciences, higher education, and as a creative director. She has leadership experience in creating and developing impact initiatives in healthcare, education, and community outreach. She is founder of a medical and life sciences writing and editing company called Paper and Proof. She currently is the cofounder and Chief Creative Officer of Emotionally Speaking, Inc., a mental health startup that combines coaching and therapy with mindfulness and emotional intelligence learning.
Jennifer earned bachelor’s degrees in English, Spanish, and Medical Studies from North Carolina State University. She attended university as a Park Scholar, granting her a full four year academic scholarship based on leadership, academics, service, and character. She completed a graduate degree in English from North Carolina State University and a graduate degree in Molecular Biology (with a neuroscience concentration) from Montclair State University. In addition, she earned a Certificate in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from Harvard Business School.
She is also a Certified Professional Coach and Mindfulness Stress-Reduction Instructor.
Jennifer has had a life-long fascination with medicine and the how the mind works. She has helped many authors publish their works, co-written several books of her own, and created digital platforms and apps in the mental healthcare space.
