She develops collaborative, high-performing teams, leads consumer centric brand-positioning, communication plans, and digital transformations. Fitzgerald has consistently delivered growth in revenue, market share, and EBITDA, as well as creating unique, memorable campaigns. She’s a proven force in the digital arena, learning the ropes of omni-channel campaigns as chief digital engagement officer at Sears Holdings and then bringing pragmatic digital plans to midsize organizations. She launches high-conversion sites, CRM programs, content strategies, and AR/VR applications to drive leads, loyalty, and e-commerce. Fitzgerald’s role as CMO at the American Lung Association gave her the opportunity to drive critical high-profile communications strategies on COVID education and youth vaping.

Fitzgerald is the author of Midsize, the newly released book that shares success strategies for marketing in midsize firms. She earned her MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern, and a BA in Spanish and a BS in International Business at The Ohio State University. She serves as a director on the Kellogg Alumni Board, is a public speaker on marketing and leadership, and mentors young people starting their careers. Fitzgerald lives with her husband in Chicago where she spends entirely too much time on New York Times word puzzles and her gal pal fantasy football league.
