Thais Navarrete
Thais is a Child Psychologist from Universidad Central de Venezuela, specializing in Psychodrama, Gestalt Therapy and Group Dynamics. Founded the Centro de Atención Integral a la Familia (Center for Comprehensive Family Care), at Clinica El Ávila, in Caracas, Venezuela, where she taught her innovative multidisciplinary psycho-prophylactic workshop, training pregnant couples on pregnancy, childbirth, and parenting.
Thais has a master's degree in Marriage, Family and Child Therapy, from California Family Study Center in Los Angeles where she participated in founding the program for the treatment of Latino families.
Thais has lived in Miami, Florida since 1993, where she directed a program for psychiatric patients, lead therapy groups for the elderly, and conducted personal growth workshops for children and adults. She currently treats her in-person and remote private practice for individuals, couples and children worldwide with a wide array of effective, modern and traditional psychological techniques and hypnotherapy.
Has written 3 novels in Spanish and participated in Fefi TeVe’s Latin American Writers Literary Forum at Books and Books in Coral Gables as well as in Miami Book Fair 2017 and 2022. Member of FILVEX (International Book Fair Venezuela Expats).
