Joan B Pritchard has now retired from her life's work and has discovered writing is good for the soul - and for her sanity. Busy all her life raising a family and having a career, she now finds she has the time to indulge herself in doing something she loves.

In writing about historical characters and events, and putting her own slant on what was said and done at the time, whilst not changing any facts, she is very happy in her own world. She also finds 'things that go bump in the night' a suitable addition to circumstances that prevailed back in the annals of time.
