K . C. Tillman

K.C. Tillman is a writer, mentor, and long-time advocate of mental wellness. She has a passion for helping others, which has led her to strategize with those in need on navigating life’s sometimes unpredictable adversities. Empowering fellow humans and opening their eyes to the light at the end of the tunnel is beyond fulfilling, as she whole-heartedly believes the word "hope" stands for “Hold On, Pain Ends”.

In her free time, she enjoys devouring books (she is, after all, a self-proclaimed “book-a-holic”), learning about anything metaphysical, snuggling with her pets, or dreaming of the next time she gets to sink her teeth into some sushi. You can also add nature lover, outdoor enthusiast, traveler, and mindfulness/yoga nut to her list of descriptors. Simply put, K.C. has a love of life.

Alongside her daughter, Bryn, K.C. co-authored Ascending the Fourteener of Recovery in an effort to bring light and compassion to eating disorders, and to help squash the stigmatization of mental illness.
