Paula Bosch was awarded as Germany's first female sommelière by Gault Millau in 1988. She started her professional career at the at the Intercontinental Hotel in Cologne, and in 1985 she moved to the VICTORIAN restaurant in Düsseldorf, where until the end of 1991.
In 1991, Paula Bosch moved to the TANTRIS restaurant in Munich as head sommelier. Here she was Germany's best known as well as most famous sommelier and wine author until 2011.
In the middle of 2011 she started her own company "Weinberatung & Sommelier" Paula Bosch, in Munich. As an author, she was successful 1996- 2003 in the "SZ-Magazin" of the Süddeutsche Zeitung for the wine column, later also with Eckart Witzigmann. In 1997 and '98 she published the first wine buying guide 500 wines under 20 D-Mark. This was followed in 1999 by Hundert WeinTipps der SZ-AUSLESE. In 2001, the longseller "Weingenuss" was published by Econ Verlag, followed in 2003 by Tipps für Weinentdeckungen & Küchengeheimnisse mit E.Witzigmann. In 2013, a guidebook with RED WINE, was published by Brandstätter Verlag, which was followed in 2015 by German Wine & German Cuisine with Tim Raue, at Callway. Her successful doing demanded more and so in 2017 Weine genießen was published, also by Callway Verlag. Her next and current book will be published on 05.11.2022 by ZS-Edel, Munich.
