Laurie Roy

I was born and raised in a tiny town in NH, but what we lacked in people we made up for in trees. I grew up roaming hundreds of acres of forest with my dog Max; occasionally my cat PJ would tag along as well. While I roamed, I would daydream. When I'd get home, I'd write down the dreams I'd had.

Now, I’m a mom, wife, and dispatcher. I still roam the woods, but now it’s my dogs Pip and Lojack with me. I still write down the stories that play in my mind. I don't think of myself as their creator, I'm just the conduit for how they come to life.
