Daniel McKay lives in New Zealand where he spends his time writing, teaching philosophy, and playing cards. He writes the Philosophical Detective series, which combines his love for philosophy with his love for sarcasm, and the Pantheon series, which combines his love for interesting magic powers with his love for awesome fight scenes.

P.S. The augmentamancer series books have been moved out of print on account of them having all the problems that early career books almost always do. They are slowly returning as Dan buffs out the dents, gives them a proper editing, and gets them covers that look cool instead of rubbish.
