Richard G. Opper

Richard G. Opper is a former Attorney General for the Territory of Guam who now writes crime fiction set in the world he actually lived in. While serving as the AG of Guam, he traveled armed to Palau with a DEA agent during a fugitive recovery in which the President of Palau was killed, led the team that locked down an active Savings and Loan branch on behalf of the federal government, and was awarded the Ancient Order of the Chamorri, one of Guam's highest civilian honors. He later established a career in environmental law in San Diego and co-founded Progresso Fronterizo, an organization focused on health and environmental conditions along the US-Mexico border. The Oakheart Trilogy is his first work of fiction. He lives in San Diego with his wife, Ann.
