SANDY LIU

Sandy Liu is from the eclectic and diverse city of Toronto, Ontario with it's ever growing startup and tech space. After many years of schooling and degrees in criminology and communications, she found herself learning about project management and applying it to a new tech startup role. In short, it didn't go that well, and so, she thrust herself into learning agile and scrum.

After years in the tech space and working as a consultant for various startups, she decided to travel the world. The world quickly shrunk to South Africa during the pandemic when she was unable to get home because of closed borders and cancelled flights. Rather than panic and despair (although both were done) she put her time and energy into writing Confessions of a Scrum Master.

She is now back in her home country of Canada working on agile transformation and product management with an established Canadian enterprise.
