It was such a great experience growing up Catholic in the 'heydays' of the late 1950s and early-mid 1960s. Attending Catholic schools and serving as an altar boy for five of those years was very enriching and rewarding. There are so many fond memories of that era: Serving on the altar at High Latin Mass as emcee with not one, but three priests. Pews and church parking lots were always filled to capacity. The choir was made up of parishioners of all ages. Families celebrated the Mass together. Local seminaries generated a wonderful cohort of new priests every year. Catholicism was flourishing.

As a lifelong Catholic, my soul is now saddened by, in the words of Archbishop Cardinal Carlo Maria Vigano, "the fetid swamp into which she (the Church) has fallen." (Testomonianza 2018) The greed, corruption, sexual immorality, pagan worship, and cover-ups in the Church hierarchy at the Vatican has prompted me to focus on evangelizing to Catholic/Christian laity. It is an endeavor to stimulate those who may have fallen away from the Church and God to reignite their faith and devotion. We must stop the effort of being led blindly into embracing the philosophies of 'One World Religion' and 'New World Order.'
