David Huffman

David Huffman was raised in a conservative home in Indiana. While attending college and law school, he worked six summers in Yellowstone National Park; five of them as a bellman at Old Faithful Inn. If asked to describe these summers in one word, his response would be 'magical.' From the mystique of working in one of the National Parks' most iconic Inns to exploring the majestic beauty and unique natural features of Yellowstone to establishing lasting friendships with his fellow employees, he truly experienced six life changing summers while working in Yellowstone National Park.

David attended law school in San Diego and remained to practice family law for 42 years before retiring in 2018. He currently lives in San Diego with his wife and their dachshund Poppy. He has two adult children.

In recent years, David served as a Trustee for five and a half years on the Board of the Cabrillo National Monument Foundation. Cabrillo National Monument is the only national monument or Park administered by the National Park Service in San Diego County.
