Kevin La Forge

Beloved Husband, Father, Brother, Son and teller of tall tales.

I was in the Army from 2003-2006 and was deployed to Iraq at the height of Operation Iraqi Freedom II. After my discharge from the service, I went to Illinois State University where I met my wife, Charis. I picked up my masters at Northern Illinois University at around the same time a more significant change occurred: the birth of my firstborn son. I’m now up to three children!

I currently live in Warrenville, Illinois where my wife and I own and run the largest (only) winery and vineyard in DuPage County.

I’m a verbal storyteller at heart, and I’ve spent many hours on climbing trips around campfires telling true stories, fantastical stories, or a mix of both. If I’m not at my day job, I can be found in the vineyard, playing with the kids, or hanging off the side of a cliff at Jackson Falls by my fingertips.
