P.W. Conway

P.W. Conway is an award-winning cowboy poet and western entertainer. He won the 2019 IWMA National Cowboy Poetry Contest in Albuquerque, NM. He has written and published three cowboy poetry books. "Buckaroo Poetry, Cowboy Poems For Young and Old", "Buckaroo Poetry, Welcome To My Campfire" and "Buckaroo Poetry, Spirit Of The West". His books have been recipients of the Will Rogers Medallion Award. All have been nominated for “Poetry book of the year”, by the International Western Music Association. PW has performed his cowboy poetry at cowboy musical and poetry gatherings, in Palos Verdes CA, Abilene KS, Salinas CA, Genoa NV, Kennewick WA, Fort Worth TX, Tombstone AZ, Albuquerque NM, Depew OK, Houston TX and Stavely, AB, Canada. He has performed at the Santa Clarita Cowboy Festival.

P.W. was a regular performer at the Autry Heritage Museum of the American West, prior to Covid.

P.W. is a member of the Ventura County Cattlemen’s Association and has spoken about the history of cattle ranching in Ventura County. Locally, PW has performed his poetry several times on radio station, 99.1 The Ranch FM and several other western radio stations around the country.
