M A Long

Michael Long is an author, novelist, teacher and, foremost, a historian. His first novel, Shadows on the Queen, is set in the reign of Edward I and is the first in a series of St Albans Medieval Mysteries. In 2023 he published a non-fiction history, 'Palace Lives,' a History of the Lost Royal Palace of Kings Langley, home to the Plantagenet Kings for nearly two centuries. 2024 will see his follow-up novel, The Guilt of the Penitent, published.
