Barb McCreary

Barb McCreary is a retired elementary school teacher and librarian. She moved from Richmond, Virginia, to Pine Knoll Shores, North Carolina in 2015. She is grateful for the opportunity to live in a maritime forest surrounded by its beauty. Her hobbies include learning about the history and culture of Eastern North Carolina. She is a former board member of Carteret Writers, a past president of The Friends of the Bogue Banks Public Library, and currently volunteers at The History Museum of Carteret County. Ms. McCreary is working on her next book, Face to Face: Jossie's Story of Morehead City.
