W. H. Maxwell

W.H. Maxwell was born and raised in rural Appalachia. With only the trees and the animals and the approaching winter to pay any attention to, he found escape through books from his idols like Stephen King and Isaac Asimov – dreaming of worlds beyond the forest. Haunted by a mind curious to see what was beyond the horizon and feet unwilling to sit still, he found a road to follow before eventually settling down in the Pacific Northwest with his family and two dogs.

The woods, streams, and little mountains of his homeland, however, are always in his heart and are center in many of his stories.

Maxwell is the author of the “Read Before Midnight” fictional horror podcast series, and the main author behind ficitonalpage.com. Other works include an ongoing comedy series, “On Thoughts, or ‘Thinking is Too Hard’”.
