Don Williams

Don Williams is a retired cardiac surgeon, who for many years was one of the busiest surgeons in the U.S.

He studied in a pre-doctoral honors program at Cornell University and received B.S. and M.S. degrees in chemical engineering. He holds an M.D. from Jefferson Medical College. He has held academic appointments at the University of Washington, Mount Sinai Medical Center, Miami Beach, Florida and the University of Miami.

Don has been in the cattle business for over thirty years and has owned ranches in Montana, Colorado, California and New Mexico. He is an avid outdoorsman and steward of the land, and his properties have won conservation awards.

Don has written a number of technical papers on topics ranging from congenital heart disease to coronary artery disease and valvular heart disease. He has been writing fiction for a number of years. Terror in Tehran is his second published novel.

Don splits his time between his home in south Florida and his ranch in northern New Mexico. He is married with three children and four grandchildren. When he is not writing he spends time in his shop building Shaker furniture.

Don is currently working on the sequel to Terror in Tehran.
