Jill Kramer is a book editor and author living in the San Diego area with her three cats.
Several years ago, when she was the Editorial Director of a San Diego–area publishing company, Jill had a dream in which the title and entire plot for the Early Reader Children's Picture Book THE ADVENTURES OF INNER-CITY KITTY came to her. To say this was a strange occurrence is an understatement, as she didn't have kids (although she does have three adopted godchildren); and she edited self-help/mind-body-spirit books at the time. She spent the entire next day writing the book.
It took awhile to find the right publisher, but after a rather long gestation, the book was published by Waterside Productions in Cardiff-by-the-Sea, California. It deals with adoption (of both kiddies and kitties), tolerance, inclusion, multicultural issues (acceptance of those of all stripes and colors) and, of course, love of cats.
Jill is also the author of CATLOVE and LOVE DAT CAT.
