Rainier

Born on the tropical island of Sri Lanka, Rainier grew up there for the first thirteen years of life. Due to the nature of his father’s work, he was fortunate to live in most of the key provinces which provided him the opportunity to see the country in entirety and gain exposure to the cultural foundations of Sri Lanka.

After losing his father at an early age, Rainier migrated to Melbourne, Australia along with his mother and siblings to start a new chapter in life. From adolescence through to adulthood, he was further exposed to a wide variety of cultural backgrounds through Melbourne’s wide multicultural society.

Driven by events in life, Rainier travelled the expanse of Australia, aimlessly riding in the wind; his world was on his back. He had no set destination or schedule, and home was where he lay his head. The journey consumed many years of his life, after which, he returned to build a foundation in Melbourne.

Events that transpired over the journey found him reflecting on life’s meaning, and he commenced writing for his own personal self-expression. Many years later, Rainier elected to expose his work to a wider audience through various social platforms.

Following the release of his first book “Life! The Journey of the Soul” in 2021, Rainier continues his lyrical narrative of life’s journey in his forthcoming publication, “Growth! Enlightenment of the Soul”.
