Duncan Madden

Duncan Madden is a widely published travel writer. Previously shortlisted for the AITO Travel Writer of the Year award, he has spent the last twenty years exploring the world and writing about it for numerous international newspapers, magazines, websites and books, from Forbes to Lonely Planet.

Alongside his love of language and etymology, Duncan surfs badly, skis slightly better and loves nothing more than disappearing off the beaten track in search of both. When at home he splits his time between Cologne and London.
