Himani Malhotra

Hi, I am Himani Malhotra. I grew up in India and later settled down in the USA. I work as a senior consultant in IT. Since a young age, I have been involved in writing plays, poems, and songs. Creativity, the arts, dance, and theater have always been close to my heart and an integral part of my life.

The idea for children's books came to me when I became a mother. My children's books are a reflection of funny and silly conversations between me and my daughter. It is an interesting journey to see how my normal conversations with my own child turned into the beautiful, silly, and funny Momo and SlowMo book series.

Now that I keep writing on regular basis, I would be humbled to see later, when I will look back at life, that I was able to create something where someone somewhere felt a connection to my books, or that I was able to ease someone's pain with the help of words, and was able to bring laughter with the illustrations contained in my stories.

I hope that with my writing others can experience that world of emotions and feelings which resides inside all of us.
