Mr. John David Thompson

John David Thompson is an Iowa poet and humorist who has authored 18 books of poetry and 1 humor book. Thompson's poetry selections include UNITED POEMS OF AMERICA, THE TORTURED TWOSOMES DEPARTMENT, A HOLIDAY CHAPBOOK OF POETRY, TITANIC: A CENTENARIAN VOYAGE IN VERSE, WHATEVER HAPPENED TO BABY BOOM?, and IOWA POEMS 175. A member of MENSA and a United States Senate Scholar, Thompson lives in Iowa and holds an MFA in Creative Writing/Poetry from New England College. He has also studied poetry as a post-graduate at the Harvard Creative Writing Program and University of Iowa Writers' Workshop, with honors.
